Moving to Harpers Ferry, WV

Borne and raised in Baltimore City, I had spent almost my entire life in and around its inner harbor.

Two years ago there was finally a need for change. So my wife Lorrie and I decided to look at other environments. Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire… all beautiful but all way too cold in the winter.

We finally landed on a small farm outside of Harpers Ferry, WV., and I took my studio with me.

Beautiful. Peaceful. No sirens. No “Help, Police!”.
Eagles fly overhead instead of policed helicopters. The Blue Ridge Mountains, deer and snow geese.

On Thursday evenings we head over to O’Hurley’s General Store and listen to a blue grass/Celtic band.

Besides designing, I now tend to organic vegetables and fruit trees, raising goats and chickens.

Fresh air and working with the land helps feed my head and warms my heart.
Here is a place that calms the soul.

I look forward to spending many years designing and sharing my life and work with you here in West Virginia.

Take care,

Bob
